From Broadway, Highline Motorsports Group is one road away. Route 50 leaves Saratoga Springs past the Spa State Park, runs through Ballston Spa, and arrives in Burnt Hills about twenty to twenty-five minutes later. Our shop is on that road. No Northway, no Latham, no Albany traffic. We are a BMW-only independent shop with factory-trained BMW Master Elite technicians, factory ISTA diagnostics and coding, genuine BMW and OEM parts, and an in-house dyno.

Saratoga Springs has an unusual BMW population. Alongside the X5s and 5 Series in Wilton and on the east side, we see a higher share of M cars from Saratoga than from anywhere else we serve: F80 and G80 M3s, M4s, F90 M5s, M2s, Z4s, and 4 Series and 8 Series convertibles that come out for track season and SPAC and go back under a cover in November. Those cars need a shop that treats an S55 or S58 as a weekly familiarity, not a rare visitor. Ours does.

The common work from Saratoga: factory maintenance on lease and certified pre-owned cars, brakes and rotors sized for a 500-horsepower sedan, rod bearings and VANOS on older S-engines, cooling-system refreshes before a track weekend, carbon cleaning on direct-injection sixes, and the oil leaks every N-series and B-series engine develops after 60,000 miles. Winter matters here. We offer climate-controlled winter car storage in Burnt Hills, and a car stored with us can have its service done while it sits, so it comes out in April with fresh fluids, new brake fluid, and a battery that has been on a tender all winter, ready for the first drive up to the lake. For the cars that stay on the road, xDrive transfer case service and pre-winter battery work are routine.

Performance and the dyno: Saratoga owners building an M3, M4, or M5, or tuning a 340i or M340i, get baseline and post-install pulls on our in-house dynamometer. We log wheel horsepower, boost, air-fuel ratio, and knock, and we do engine building, custom exhaust, and fabrication in the same building. That combination is rare in upstate New York, and it is why track cars from Saratoga end up on our lift in the weeks before the season starts.

Day-to-day work from Saratoga is easier than the M-car list suggests. Most of what comes down Route 50 is a 10,000-mile oil service on a leased 3 Series, a brake-wear warning on an X5, a check-engine light on a Wilton commuter, or a battery that gave up in the Race Course parking lot in August. We handle those with the same factory software and genuine parts as the dealer in Latham, at an independent-shop labor rate, and most of them are same-day. For the Skidmore families and the seasonal residents who are only in town May through October, we will work around the calendar: schedule the big service for the week you arrive or the week before you leave, and the car is ready when you are. Drop-offs from Saratoga are usually paired with errands in Ballston Spa or a trip into Schenectady, and the online scheduler lets you pick a morning slot so the whole thing fits in one trip.
